The Billuminate seal
Answers you can trust – and check for yourself
The seal shows that a company takes its answers to customers from Billuminate's verified knowledge layer. What the answers say comes from a checked source, and every answer can be traced back to where it came from.
What the seal means
When you see the seal on a company's site, it means:
- 01
Answers come from a verified source.
The company's information, such as terms, fees and procedures, is gathered and structured in Billuminate's verified knowledge layer. The answers you get are drawn from there, not from guesswork.
- 02
People have approved the content.
The company reviews and approves the knowledge before it is used. Questions the knowledge doesn't cover go to a person instead of being answered at random.
- 03
Every answer can be traced.
There is a log of which source an answer was based on and when that source was last approved.
The seal is not a rating of the company's products or prices. It is about how the company answers your questions.
We use it ourselves. The chat here on billuminate.io answers from our own verified knowledge layer. That's why the seal is in our footer.
How it works
- 01
The knowledge is gathered and verified.
The company's information is gathered in Billuminate's verified knowledge layer and approved by the company.
- 02
Answers are drawn from the knowledge.
In the chat and other channels, answers are built on the verified knowledge. Anything that can't be answered with confidence goes to a person.
- 03
Everything can be followed up.
Every answer can be traced to its source. That makes it easier for the company to keep its information right and to show how answers were produced.
Click the seal
The seal is more than an image.
For companies that use it, it leads to a verification page at Billuminate. There you can see:
- which company the seal applies to
- which channels are covered, for example the chat on the company's website
- that the verification is active
If the seal doesn't lead to such a page, or the page shows that the verification isn't active, don't trust it.
For companies
Who may use the seal?
The seal may be used by companies that use Billuminate's verified knowledge layer to answer their customers.
Conditions
- 01

- 03
The knowledge is kept current and approved by the company.
- 04
The seal links to Billuminate's verification page.
- 05
The right to use the seal ends when the agreement ends or the conditions are no longer met. The seal must then be removed.

FAQ
Answers to the questions that usually come up
Does the seal mean Billuminate guarantees the company's answers?
No. The seal shows that answers are drawn from a verified knowledge layer that the company itself has approved, and that answers can be traced. Responsibility for the content stays with the company.
Is AI used to answer?
Yes, AI is used to phrase the answers. But the answers are built on the verified knowledge, not on general information from the internet. Questions that can't be answered with confidence go to a person.
How do I know the seal is genuine?
Click it. A genuine seal leads to Billuminate and shows that the verification is active.
What happens if the information changes?
The company updates and approves the knowledge in Billuminate. Answers are always built on the latest approved version.
