By using Bill, either through our app or through an integration your company has engaged us for, you accept these terms.

Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to:

  • Individuals who use the Bill app to get answers to financial questions.
  • Companies that integrate Bill through an API, widget, or other technical connection to provide answers to their own customers.

Some sections apply only to one of the groups. Where they do, it is clearly marked.

For individuals

2.1 What Bill is

Bill is a service where you can ask questions about personal finance, bills, contracts, rights, and similar topics. Bill answers based on verified knowledge from public sources.

2.2 Bill is free for you

Bill is currently free for you as a consumer. Companies pay so you can get good answers, not you. If we ever change this, we will notify you clearly and in good time.

2.3 Your responsibilities

When you use the Bill app, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful information where required
  • Only upload documents you own or have the right to manage
  • Not use the service for illegal purposes or to spread illegal content

2.4 Bill provides guidance, not legal or financial advice

Bill is a tool to help you understand financial information. Your actual legal position is always determined by the original document, contract, or law. Bill does not provide legal or financial advice.

Bill uses AI technology. Answers may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying important information against the original source, or by contacting the company or authority that issued the document.

For companies

3.1 Scope of the service

When your company uses Bill as infrastructure for customer answers, either through our API, our widget, or another integration, the terms and service levels in the separate agreement between you and Bill AB apply. These Terms of Use complement that agreement.

3.2 Integration and use

You agree to:

  • Use the integration in accordance with our documentation
  • Not exceed agreed usage volumes or security controls
  • Communicate transparently to your customers when Bill is used in your solution

3.3 Takedown commitment

We are committed to following our published takedown procedures. If you want us to stop collecting or using content from your public sources, or to remove your logo:

3.4 Service availability

We work continuously to improve the service. We do not currently offer formal availability guarantees (SLAs) in these terms. Customers who require specific service levels enter into a separate agreement where such guarantees can be included.

General terms

4.1 Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app, by email to registered account holders, or on the website. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

4.2 Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are heard by a Swedish general court, with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.

4.3 Contact
