From the industry we serve
We spent our careers inside banks and consumer credit: credit decisioning, analytics, customer operations. We have owned the customer-service statistics ourselves, and watched the same questions arrive year after year without a good answer at the front line.
Why Billuminate exists
When digital channels became the main channel, we needed a way to answer customers correctly, in their own language, without betting the brand on improvisation. It did not exist. So we built it.
New technology, on regulated terms
The tools this industry runs on are rigid, and they were not built for the question a customer actually asks. Language models change what is possible, but a regulated company cannot adopt them on faith. Our work is applying that technology on regulated terms: measured, gated, signed. Where it started
We started by building an assistant that explained the Swedish financial system to people who were new to it. That is where we found the real problem: the companies cannot answer for themselves. The job turned out to be much bigger than an app, and it sits in the knowledge rather than in the interface.
